The third report from Lines of Silence's Research and Development Department (LOSRND).

This release features a piece that was created for the Todmorden Electronic Open Mic at the Golden Lion on 14/11/23. As an experiment I used Ableton as an instrument - live looping samples on the fly and bringing in / processing extracts from demo recordings of a new Lines of Silence track, New Rituals for Dead Gods.

Working in this way was inspired by Dave Shooter's workshop delivered at the Castles in Space Levitation Festival in Whitby, 2023.

The second track is a reworking, using the same approach with the same samples but going for a very different feel.
